Amy already had more than a decade of experience in the flooring industry when she joined Michael Halebian & Co. in 2002, having worked in her family’s flooring business since 1987. There she focused on new business development, managing a showroom, expediting orders and learning all aspects of the business. From there Amy branched out, working for some of the most prestigious flooring contractors in New York City, broadening her knowledge and experience in the fast-track commercial market.
Today she is a matchmaker for the industry’s most respected flooring products and the A&D clients who benefit from their use. Amy has had many firsts, such as being the first rep to sell Kahrs Wood Flooring in its introduction to the New York market and the first to sell Raskin Elevations and have it become a standardized specification for a large New York City agency. When we sold cork, Amy sold more cork flooring than anyone in the entire United States. She’s built strong relationships during her tenure with our company and plays a large role in forming new relationships. Amy thrives on the opportunity to be a flooring resource, finding the best performing products suitable to the job and her clients’ design.
